It’s just past midnight in American Samoa and I am barely awake, watching the movie Princess Bride. It’s quite a ridiculous movie but there is one line that stood out to me. Miracle Max asks the “mostly dead” Wesley, “What you got that’s worth living for?”
Despite the title of this blog post, this is not our last new year. American Samoa is in the last time zone and so ours is the last midnight of the year. Luckily, we will wake tomorrow morning to a new year.
With midnight now past, it’s time to retire to my bed. Before I do, I’ll ask you, what do you have that’s worth living for?
